WINTERGUARD Competition 3

Del valle HS
-
8am- Call Time for students, they will show up at the EHS band room with practice clothes and either their makeup, or hair done already. They can choose either or depending on what takes them longer.
9am- Rehearsal ends. NOTE: students will only have one hour to get ready and eat if they don’t eat before. They may have time at Del Valle for touch ups on hair and makeup and get snacks. The students will also be given food after they perform.
9am-10am- This is the time where they can finish getting ready.
9:30am- Call time for trailer. Students will put their floor and props into the trailer.
9:30am- call time for volunteers if you wish to take the bus.
10am- Students and Trailer Depart to Del Valle School. Volunteers can take the bus if they wish.
10:30am- Estimated arrival time to Del Valle High School. Students and volunteers will help get the floor and props from the trailer and leave it in the prop holding area at. They will have downtime to do this as well as use the restroom, touch up hair and makeup etc.
10:30am- Call time for volunteers who want to meet at Del Valle HS.
11:45am - Glory Independent Performs. Due to Destiny, Mia and I being in Glory, we will be with Glory until after we perform, then we will be with the students for their performance. Mr. Matthews will be at the competition with the students, as well as parent volunteers that will watch over the students while the staff performs.

2:12pm- Performance Time
After EHS performs, they will have an area where they can fold the floor onto the cart and carry the props and floor back to the trailer. Once this is done, they can use the restroom if needed, get concession snacks, and watch shows.
4:23PM- Last group performs
6pm- estimated arrival at EHS.
*Destiny, Mia and Stephanie will not be riding the buses to Del Valle and back to EHS this competition, as Glory is leaving for Phoenix that night and has rehearsal right after competition.

If you are volunteering and traveling to Del Valle HS, please wear a band show shirt or any EHS colored attire along with jeans and comfortable shoes so we can spot each other easily.
We are only allowed 7 bracelets for volunteers at Del Valle HS. Since our band students receive volunteer hours for floor crew, they do receive preference on bracelets for admission. In the event that we have 7 student floor crew volunteers, please be prepared to purchase your own bracelet which is $10.
If you are going to take the bus to Del Valle HS, please report to EHS at 9:30am. If you are going to meet at Del Valle HS, please meet at 10:30am by the drop off area.

For call time at 8am, they will come in their rehearsal clothes with either their hair or makeup done already. It is up to the students as they know what takes them longer to do.
After rehearsal is over at 9am, they will change into their costumes.
Costume:
-Gold costume
-proper undergarments for males and females. For females, make sure that any straps are clear or not showing.
-nude nail polish on toes is fine but no nail polish on fingers.
-black shorts under their dress
Students must bring the following:
-Black leggings
-EHS guard shirt
-white shoes
-backpack with jackets and sweats (if it’s cold)
-all equipment taped with correct silks
-tan gloves
-miscellaneous items like hairspray, bobby pins, hair ties
